Our forecast is trained to predict the **NED.NL solar generation estimate**, which we found to be the authoritative figure for total solar power production in the Netherlands. This is a project that is supported by the Grid operator TenneT.

We chose this as our ground truth:

Comprehensive National Target: Our forecast predicts the NED.NL solar estimate, which accounts for all generation sources across the Netherlands, from large-scale farms to distributed residential rooftops. This ensures our forecast provides a complete and realistic picture of national solar output.
2. Transparent Performance: By using a public benchmark, we provide full transparency. You can independently verify our forecast's accuracy against the same data the industry uses, ensuring a direct "apples-to-apples" comparison.
